Job Description
Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is partnering with a Raw Materials Company for a Business Group Manager role based in Taguig.
Salary Range: 80,000 - 120,000
Work Setup: Onsite
Shift Schedule: Day Shift
Location: Taguig City
The role
The Business Group Manager will lead the assigned business units, focusing on B2B sales of raw materials, functional ingredients, and industrial inputs. This role is responsible for driving revenue, managing supplier and customer relationships, and ensuring the efficient operation and growth of both units in the industrial and food manufacturing sectors.

The role
The Business Group Manager will lead the assigned business units, focusing on B2B sales of raw materials, functional ingredients, and industrial inputs. This role is responsible for driving revenue, managing supplier and customer relationships, and ensuring the efficient operation and growth of both units in the industrial and food manufacturing sectors.
Your Responsibilities
Business and Principal Management
- Define and implement business plans, sales strategies, and growth targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Lead profit and loss responsibility for the business units, ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee principal relationships and ensure business targets are met for all assigned principals and suppliers.
- Support principal and business management, including achieving budgetary goals and managing principal relationships.
- Manage relationships with B2B customers in the processed meat and industrial sectors.
- Oversee pricing, contract negotiations, and customer retention strategies.
- Develop pipelines for new business and work closely with technical teams on client-specific solutions.
- Source and manage a portfolio of raw materials, functional ingredients, and non-food supplies.
- Work with suppliers to ensure product availability, quality, and competitive pricing.
- Stay updated on innovations and regulatory changes affecting product lines.
- Lead a team of sales, product, and support professionals across the two business units.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as procurement, logistics, finance, and quality assurance.
- Set and track KPIs for the team and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels, sales forecasts, and delivery timelines to meet customer demand.
- Analyze financial data to improve margins, control costs, and manage working capital.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant food safety and industry standards.
- Perform any other related duties or special projects as may be assigned by management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in B2B sales or business unit leadership within food manufacturing, ingredients, or industrial supply sectors.
- Strong technical understanding of food and non-food raw materials, particularly in processed meat applications.
- Proven ability to manage teams, drive growth, and deliver against financial targets.
