Job Description

Job Summary:

The Business Development Supervisor supports the Business Development Manager in acquiring new customers, negotiating agreements, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. This role involves assisting in lead generation, market research, and managing key accounts to drive business growth. The Business Development Supervisor works closely with marketplaces such as Lazada, Shopee, and Zalora while ensuring alignment with Aeroworx's operational capabilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition and Lead Generation

  • Assists in identifying and qualifying potential clients based on the annual business plan.
  • Supports in preparing sales presentations, pitch materials, and initial proposals.
  • Helps maintain and update a pipeline of prospective clients and sales opportunities.

Proposal Development and Contract Support

  • Collaborates with the Business Development Manager in drafting costing proposals and agreements.
  • Assists in contract preparation and ensures all documents are properly reviewed before submission.

Market Research and Business Expansion

  • Conducts research on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
  • Identifies possible partnerships with marketplaces, technology providers, and financial institutions.
  • Supports negotiations with marketplaces for brand visibility packages.

Digital Presence and Client Engagement

  • Helps manage company platforms such as LinkedIn, corporate website, social media accounts, and client inquiry emails.
  • Assists in creating content or marketing materials to enhance the company's digital presence.

Operational Coordination and Client Onboarding

  • Works with the operations team to facilitate smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Assists in coordinating internal teams to ensure timely execution of client requirements.

Client Relationship Management and Support

  • Attends client meetings, including joint business plans and business reviews, alongside the Business Development Manager.
  • Supports in managing client inquiries and resolving operational concerns.
  • Assists in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any other related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in an e-commerce or retail-related company.
  • Experience working with retail fashion brands is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital sales channels.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in using business tools and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
