Role Overview

The Business Development Supervisor plays a key role in building and advancing the company's property acquisition pipeline. This position is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and initially negotiating property opportunities, coordinating site and land assessments, and ensuring that only viable and marketable projects move forward for acquisition. The role requires strong market awareness, negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Property & Land Sourcing: Identify and screen potential properties, land parcels, subdivisions, and housing projects for acquisition or partnership.
  • Initial Negotiation: Engage property owners, brokers, banks, and asset managers to discuss pricing, availability, and commercial terms.
  • Site & Land Inspection: Conduct site visits to validate location, accessibility, development condition, and overall project viability.
  • Property Evaluation: Assess salability, pricing, development status, and overall business potential of sourced assets.
  • Financial & Market Review: Prepare basic financial simulations and market comparisons to support acquisition decisions.
  • Market & Competitor Research: Monitor comparable projects and competing developments to validate demand and pricing.
  • Acquisition Endorsement: Recommend qualified properties for further due diligence and approval.
  • Requirement Coordination: Gather and organize documents, data, and initial requirements needed by the Acquisition Unit.

Qualifications

  • At least 34 years of experience in business development, property sales, real estate, market research, or acquisitions, preferably in a supervisory or senior role.
  • Background in land acquisition, real estate brokerage, or property development is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to analyze property opportunities and make sound commercial recommendations.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple deals and site evaluations at the same time.
  • Willing to do field work, site visits, and meetings with property owners and partners.
