The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong commercial relationships with external stakeholders and implement a strategic account approach to develop partnerships.
- Initiate discussions with customers/partners on project opportunities, liaise with internal/external teams on solutions, negotiate commercial terms with key stakeholders, and finalize business deals.
- Conduct studies on market trends, customer requirements, and competition status, and present analysis and reports to management when required.
- Provide product training, seminars, and presentations to customers and/or other stakeholders as needed.
- Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision makers
- Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
- Develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
- Over 3 years of experience in a sales and/or business development role, with a proven track record of growing a portfolio of new clients and success in closing new business.
- Previous experience in renewable energy or BESS industrial segments is preferred.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to learn and understand the technical and product aspects of BESS/solar solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new business and consult on solutions.
- Skills in influencing key stakeholders and comfortable working in multicultural environments.
- Proactive and results-driven.
