Duties And Responsibilities
In-charge of industries included in the scope above as well as with other projects to be handled by the BD team
- End-to-end Sourcing & Trading
- Demand spotting through sales needs, trends, or new products from suppliers
- Hunting of new suppliers & principals
- Testing and Sampling Coordination
- Monitoring of shipments from source to warehouse
- Closely work with Supply Chain on purchase request, forecast and inventory monitoring (Purchasing, Planning & Warehouse)
- Principals / Supplier Management
- Accreditation of the supplier and products (internal and with regulating government bodies)
- Build and maintain exclusivity with the principal
- Monitor and assure continuity of projects
- Documentation, Testing and Development
- Creates, maintains, and updates traded database
- Reviews technical documents of principals
- In charge of doing in-house testing and qualification for new products (in coordination with Product Design/R&D Team)
- Creates evidence-based materials, presentations and technical sheets
- Technical Sales Support
- Closely works with the sales team in introducing and offering new products to industrial and bakery clients
- Point person handling queries and needed technical support of the R&D and Product Development teams of clients
- Continuously conducts research and testing to fit product with needs of the clients (modifications, tweaking, re-classification)
- Market Intelligence & Study
- Assists the Business Development Manager in monitoring the progress and data gathering for innovation funnel projects
- Conduct feasibility studies for mid to long-term projects of the BD team such as, but not limited to the following: Market & Industry Analysis, Product & Technology Analysis, Legal & Regulatory Check
- Regularly research about trends, new product launches, and new technology in the market
- Regular analysis of data and trends to make sure the company stays ahead of competition
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology (Licensed)
- with Sales and R&D experience
- with atleast 1 year of experience
- Location: Willing to work in Bagumbayan, Quezon City.
