Role Overview
We are hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) based in the Philippines to help us grow across North America. In this role, you will identify, contact, and qualify dealership prospects, generate interest in CarAI, and book meetings for our sales team.
This is a remote outbound sales role. You must be comfortable doing high-volume outreach, speaking with dealership staff and decision-makers, and working hours that overlap with North American business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect automotive dealerships and dealer groups in the U.S. and Canada
- Build and manage lead lists using CRM, LinkedIn, databases, and other prospecting tools
- Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn
- Qualify leads and identify dealership pain points, needs, and buying intent
- Book qualified demo meetings for the sales team
- Follow up consistently with prospects and keep opportunities moving
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, lead status, and notes in the CRM
- Work closely with leadership to improve messaging, targeting, and outbound strategy
- Learn CarAI's value proposition, product features, and use cases for dealerships
- Hit weekly and monthly KPIs related to outreach activity, qualified meetings, and pipeline generation
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation, business development, or appointment setting
- Strong spoken and written English
- Comfortable speaking with North American prospects by phone
- Experience with cold calling and outbound email outreach
- Strong organization and follow-up skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Confident using CRM systems and sales tools
- Willingness to work hours that overlap with U.S. or Canadian time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS, software, or technology services
- Experience targeting automotive dealerships, dealer groups, or automotive service businesses
- Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced sales environment
- Understanding of dealership operations, service departments, or fixed ops is a plus
