Business Development Representative (UK market)

You'll be the first person calling UK retailers for one of the biggest names in unified communications. The programme starts in October. We need someone to own it from day one.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Illicium runs outbound programmes for global tech vendors from Sydney and Manila. We already run this vendor's Australian programme. Now we're opening the UK.

You'll be the voice of that launch: calling senior people at UK retailers, starting real conversations, and booking meetings for the vendor's London sales team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Call and email heads of CRM, ecommerce, customer experience and marketing at UK retailers
• Talk about WhatsApp Business and customer messaging, without reading from a script
• Book qualified meetings with decision makers
• Tell us what's working and what isn't, so we can sharpen the approach every week

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You own your results and don't wait to be told your numbers are down
• When something isn't landing, you try a different angle and share what you learnt
• You ask good questions and actually listen to the answers
• At least three years of B2B outbound calling, ideally to UK, US or Australian buyers
• Clear, confident spoken and written English
• A quiet workspace, stable internet and backup power

WHAT YOU EARN

• Guaranteed monthly pay of PHP 70,000 (base plus allowances)
• PHP 30,000 bonus after your first four months
• Uncapped commission on every qualified meeting, with higher rates once you pass target
• 13th month pay and night differential
• Full employment: SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG

WHERE IT GOES

The UK programme is built to grow. Hit your numbers and you'll have a promotion review at six months, with a clear path to Senior BDR and team lead as we add people to the market.

THE DETAILS

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, work from home
• Hours: 4pm to 1am Manila time (UK business hours). 3pm to midnight until 25 October
• Start: onboarding from 13 October
