Sinch Email is a strategic product within the Sinch portfolio that requires consistent outbound focus and clear product positioning. The Business Development Representative - Email role ensures that Email opportunities-both net-new and expansion-are proactively identified, qualified, and converted into high-quality sales conversations across APAC.

What do you do in the role

  • Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Creation
    • Execute targeted outbound prospecting for Sinch Email across assigned APAC territories.
    • Identify companies with high email usage, deliverability challenges, compliance requirements, or legacy ESP dependencies.
    • Engage senior stakeholders across Marketing, Growth, Product, and Engineering functions.
  • Product-Led Discovery & Qualification
    • Conduct structured discovery to understand email use cases (transactional, marketing, lifecycle), scale, and infrastructure.
    • Qualify opportunities based on fit, urgency, value, and buying readiness.
    • Articulate Sinch Email's value around deliverability, reliability, scalability, and integration within a broader messaging stack.
  • Cross-Sell & Account Expansion
    • Identify email expansion opportunities within existing Sinch customer accounts.
    • Partner closely with Account Executives to support cross-sell motions and expansion strategy.
    • Position Email as a complementary channel alongside SMS, Voice, and other Sinch products.
  • Sales Alignment & Execution
    • Create sales-ready opportunities and ensure clean, detailed handoffs to Account Executives.
    • Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and pipeline hygiene.
    • Share market and product feedback to improve outbound messaging and sales plays.

What experience/qualities you need to bring with you

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Diverse academic backgrounds that demonstrate analytical thinking and strong communication skills are highly valued.
  • 4-6+ years of experience in outbound BDR, SDR, or sales development roles.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise or complex SaaS sales motions, preferably within SaaS, CPaaS, MarTech, or infrastructure products.
  • Proven success in net-new pipeline creation as well as account expansion and cross-sell motions.
  • Skills
    • Advanced outbound prospecting and personalization.
    • Strong discovery, qualification, and objection-handling skills.
    • Ability to discuss email use cases and deliverability concepts at a business level.
    • Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools.
    • Strong territory and time management in a remote environment.
