The Role
We're seeking a
Business Development Representative. This role is designed for someone with a strong interest in real estate, sales, and deal-making. You'll play a key role in sourcing new acquisition opportunities by reaching out directly to property owners and contributing to the company's growth strategy while developing industry expertise in industrial real estate.
Location: Must be in Colombia Remote.
Environment: Colombian and International Teams.
Language: Advanced English (B2+ - C1).
Timezone: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM PST.
Contract: Non-fixed Term Colombian Contract.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in sales, cold calling, or business development (real estate experience strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with real estate concepts; industrial property knowledge is a plus
- College degree in business, communications, or real estate preferred but not required
- Demonstrates excellent phone communication skills with a persuasive and professional demeanor
- Comfortable with high call volumes and rejection while maintaining persistence and positivity
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously
- Working knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to quickly learn real estate terminology, property valuation basics, and acquisition strategies
- A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility

Responsibilities
Outbound Calling & Lead Generation
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to industrial property owners to identify potential sellers
- Research and qualify property owners before outreach to ensure alignment with acquisition criteria
- Accurately present the value proposition and build rapport with owners to uncover selling motivations
- Maintain detailed records of conversations, outcomes, and follow-ups in CRM systems
Pipeline Development & Deal Flow Support
- Generate and nurture leads through persistent follow-up and relationship building
- Coordinate with Acquisitions team to hand off qualified opportunities for evaluation and negotiation
- Track and report on outreach efforts, call metrics, and conversion performance
- Assist with market research and data gathering to identify new industrial property targets
Communication & Administrative Support
- Draft and send follow-up emails, letters, or information packages to property owners
- Work with the Acquisitions team to refine outreach strategies and scripts
- Manage call lists, update CRM databases, and maintain organized lead pipelines
- Support ad hoc projects related to acquisitions, marketing campaigns, and executive support
