Job Description

As our Business Development Representative, you will be at the front line of our growth across the Australian market; prospecting, qualifying, and booking high-value meetings for our Head of Global Business Solutions, Oceania to advance and close.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute structured outbound prospecting across phone, email, and LinkedIn, targeting Australian B2B decision-makers in alignment with our outbound strategy and ICP.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads rigorously, ensuring every meeting booked for the Head of Global Business Solutions, Oceania is well-prepared, well-matched, and worth the conversation.
  • Apply a strong understanding of sales psychology to build rapport, navigate gatekeepers, and move prospects through the pipeline with purpose.
  • Manage your pipeline with discipline: every touchpoint logged, every lead status current, and your data clean across our sales engagement platforms.
  • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of outbound messaging, call scripts, and objection handling; when something isn't landing, come with a specific, considered suggestion for what to try instead.
  • Participate actively in weekly sales alignment sessions, treating them as working sessions, not reporting exercises.
  • Maintain a strong meeting show-up rate through timely, professional pre-meeting communication and consistent relationship management.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years in a B2B sale or BDR role, with a demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding appointment-setting targets.
  • Direct exposure in the offshoring, outsourcing, or BPO sector.
  • Proven experience working with or alongside Australian clients or sales teams, with a sound understanding of Australian business culture, communication styles, and AEST/AWST operating hours.
  • Near-native spoken and written English: precise, confident, and professional across every channel and every conversation
  • Hands-on experience with modern outbound prospecting and automation tools, including Apollo.io, Amplemarket, Lusha, HubSpot, or equivalent platforms
