Job Description

This role leads the identification, evaluation, and execution of growth opportunities through market sizing, business case development, and strategic partnerships. This role drives product and service expansion by delivering sales, setting customer strategies, and leveraging competitive and InsurTech market intelligence to inform business decisions.

Internal Communication and Coordination

Facilitate communication with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, operations, customer service) regarding product updates, rollouts, or changes.

Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure smooth product implementation and launch.

Strategic Business Planning

Develop both short-term and long-term business strategies for general insurance aligned with company growth objectives.

Formulate actionable plans and initiatives to drive product uptake and market penetration.

Customer and Partner Relationship Management

Develop and manage key customer relationships and distribution partnerships (e.g., brokers, agents, corporate clients).

Identify opportunities for strategic alliances and joint initiatives.

Marketing and Sales Enablement

Design and support marketing campaigns to promote general insurance offerings.

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to craft value propositions and messaging aligned with target markets.

Digital Insurance Services Implementation

Assist in the planning and implementation of digital insurance services and platforms.

Support the procurement and integration of relevant information technology for general insurance.

Manage third-party cooperation, oversee digital financial transactions, and resolve service delivery issues.

Support for Executive Management

Assist the Board of Directors in developing and monitoring digital initiatives related to general insurance.

Carry out additional tasks as assigned in support of business expansion or transformation goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree / 4-Year Course Graduate

At least 3-6 years of relevant experience

Excellent relationship and networking skills and the ability to find and nurture business opportunities

Effective written, verbal communication, and presentation skills as well as stakeholder management

Ability to formulate both long-term and short-term business strategies

Capable of aligning business development initiatives with corporate goals and industry trends

Proficient in analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities

Skilled in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and emerging markets

Experience in developing marketing campaigns and go-to-market strategies

Capable of managing sales pipelines and driving revenue generation activities

Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders

Effective in client acquisition, onboarding, and relationship growth

Understanding of digital insurance models and digital transformation strategies

Experience with digital product implementation, IT collaboration, and managing technology partnerships

Ability to manage end-to-end business development projects including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting

Capable of coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors effectively

Skilled in tracking KPIs, evaluating business line performance, and generating actionable insights

Competent in using data and reporting tools for decision-making and performance management

Strong skills in negotiating commercial terms and establishing strategic partnerships or joint ventures

Capable of proactively identifying and resolving challenges, especially in digital service delivery and third-party collaborations

Comfortable working in fast-changing environments with a solutions-focused mindset
