The Business Development Officer will be responsible for handling Watsons outright account across both offline stores and Watsons Online, driving sales growth and ensuring strong execution of brand initiatives. The role will focus on managing account performance, ensuring the outright business is sustained, and strengthening partnerships with Watsons to maximize business opportunities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the Watsons outright account for both offline stores and Watsons Online, ensuring sales targets are met and business performance is sustained.
- Monitor and analyze sell-in and sell-through performance, inventory levels, and stock availability to maintain consistent product supply.
- Ensure timely execution of product listings, launches, and assortment plans with Watsons buyers.
- Track and follow up on purchase orders, replenishments, and aging stock to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, supply chain, marketing, and VM) to ensure smooth execution of initiatives and brand presence across all Watsons channels.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to support ongoing account management and strategic planning.
- Maintain strong relationships with Watsons buyers and key stakeholders to safeguard and grow the outright business.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- With experience in Key Accounts Management, preferably handling Watsons, Outright Accounts, or Modern Trade.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, sell-through management, and stock execution.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and sales reporting.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
