Reporting to: General Manager
The
Business Development Officer will drive the growth by identifying and engaging commercial and industrial clients for our solar solutions. This role focuses on generating qualified leads, building relationships with key decision-makers, and promoting the company's products to expand market presence and sales.
Other responsibilities include:
- Maintains a database of prospects with key details including industry, energy needs, and decision-makers.
- Initiate contact with prospective clients through calls, emails, networking events, and site visits.
- Collaborates with internal teams to create proposals, presentations, and quotations for potential clients.
- Represents the company at trade shows, seminars, and industry events.
To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in commercial or industrial sectors.
- Experience in renewable energy, energy efficiency, electrical, or engineering-related products
- Exposure to commercial and industrial clients, such as manufacturing, logistics, retail, or industrial facilities.
- Basic understanding of solar PV systems, energy savings, and ROI concepts.
