Job Overview
The Business Development Officer is responsible for driving business growth by managing corporate accounts, developing client relationships, and identifying new sales opportunities. This role serves as a key liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure successful delivery of services and long-term client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients
- Generate new business opportunities through networking, client meetings, and market research
- Present products, services, and customized solutions based on client needs
- Prepare proposals, quotations, service agreements, and presentations
- Collaborate with operations and internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery
- Monitor account performance, project timelines, and client feedback
- Ensure timely billing coordination and support account profitability goals
- Resolve customer concerns and maintain high levels of client satisfaction
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue objectives
- Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and account updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Experience in corporate sales, business development, account management, or client relations
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to build long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple accounts simultaneously
- Background in B2B sales, events, advertising, media, or service industries is an advantage
