- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow assets under management (AUM) across institutional, family office, RIA, and/or retail channels.
- Identify and target new prospects through networking, referrals, direct outreach, and industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients, investment consultants, and key distribution partners.
-Collaborate with the investment, marketing, and client services teams to develop customized proposals, presentations.
-Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and investor behaviors to inform strategic decisions.
-Represent the firm at conferences, industry panels, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and trust.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 37+ years of experience in asset management, investment banking, or financial services, with a focus on business development or sales.
- Deep understanding of investment strategies (e.g., equities, fixed income, alternatives, ESG, multi-asset).
- Demonstrated track record of successfully raising capital or acquiring new clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial products to a wide range of audiences.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
