Role Description

The Business Development Manager for Southeast Asia will focus on expanding Discover Destinations presence in the region through client acquisition and account management.

Position Overview

This is a sales-focused role requiring a highly independent and proactive individual who can drive business development efforts, manage client relationships, and represent the company across the region. The goal is to find a long-term fit who can eventually help us build and scale a team in the Philippines.

Core Requirements

  • Strong background in sales and business development
  • Proven experience in customer service and client relationship management
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working with partial overlap with US business hours
  • Willing and able to travel internationally
  • Experience attending and representing companies at trade shows and industry events
  • Solid industry knowledge (travel/tourism preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with North and South America travel products (receptive operator experience is a strong plus)
  • Candidate with an existing US visa is highly preferred

Compensation

  • Base salary + performance-based bonus/incentive structure
