As we gear up to launch our data-driven platform, WhyQ Intelligence, in Q3 2026, we are leveraging real-time data on consumption, wellness, and employee satisfaction to shape the future of modern corporate dining.

The Role 

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to own a portfolio of corporate clients and help them execute flawless office meals and events. This is a unique, hybrid role where you will be responsible for end-to-end account management as well as merchant onboarding specifically tailored to the needs of your assigned accounts.

You will prepare tailored quotations, source and onboard the right F&B merchants to fulfill your clients specific requests, set up invoice billing, and drive retention and account growth. This is a client-facing position that blends relationship management, vendor acquisition, and strong operational execution. You will be the trusted point of contact who makes it happen reliably and fast.

What You'll Do

  • Corporate Quotation & Event Support: Prepare accurate, well-presented quotations that match client requirements (headcount, dietary needs, frequency, budget, delivery/setup, timing, and venue constraints). Support a wide range of occasions, including trainings, seminars, town halls, team lunches, celebrations, and client meetings. Anticipate edge cases and proactively clarify requirements.
  • Merchant Onboarding & Vendor Coordination: Actively source, pitch, and onboard new merchants and F&B partners required to fulfill the specific, unique needs of your corporate accounts. Work closely with these vendors to request custom menus, coordinate revisions quickly, compare options, and ensure operational requirements and lead times are perfectly aligned before finalizing.
  • Client Onboarding & Billing Setup: Onboard new corporate clients and set them up on invoice billing and agreed credit terms. Ensure internal setup is completely accurate (billing info, PO requirements, cost centers, approvals, delivery preferences) so ordering and invoicing are smooth from day one.
  • Portfolio Retention & Growth: Own your portfolio of corporate accounts and keep them active through consistent follow-ups and outstanding service. Retain existing spend by resolving issues quickly. Grow account value by identifying upsell opportunities (larger events, recurring pantry orders, new office locations, higher frequency ordering) and pitching relevant solutions.
  • Service Recovery & Problem Solving: Handle escalations calmly and professionally when issues arise (vendor challenges, delivery delays, last-minute changes). Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, driving solutions end-to-end.

  • High repeat rate and retained spend across your portfolio.
  • Increased monthly spend per account through proactive account management.
  • Smooth onboarding for new clients with minimal billing or invoice disputes

Who You Are

  • Singaporean or PR.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; you don't drop balls and pride yourself on clean execution.
  • Strong communicator, comfortable speaking with admins, HR, office managers, and founders.
  • Commercial mindset; you enjoy retention, growth, and partner acquisition, rather than just handling requests.
  • Calm under pressure and solutions-first when issues arise.
  • Comfortable with occasional early mornings or evenings when corporate events require it.
  • Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in business development, account management, customer success, F&B, hospitality, or client servicing (B2B experience is a plus).
  • Salary range: SGD 3,000 to SGD 5,000
  • Commissions to be discussed separately.
