Job Description

The Business Development Manager is accountable for driving sustainable growth and strengthening field capability across assigned RegionHead/sor BranchHead/sthrough disciplined execution of agency strategies, performance management, andagencyprograms.

This position supportsregionalbusiness priorities by translating strategy into actionable plans, monitoring execution quality, and providing data-driven recommendations to improve recruitment, onboarding, activation, training, retention, and production outcomes.

The incumbent is expected to collaborate across functions, reinforce professionalism and ethical business conduct, and deliver measurable results through strong coaching, governance, and consistent field execution.

Position Responsibilities:

Agency Strategy

  • Translate company priorities intoregionalagency strategies, operating plans, and scorecards that guide field execution.

  • Analyze business trends, funnel health, and productivity gaps to recommend actions that improve growth, retention, and leader pipeline quality.

  • Partner with the Regional Sales Director and key stakeholders to align initiatives, priorities, and resource focus with business objectives.

  • Reinforce governance, professionalism, and continuous improvement in the execution ofregionalagency plans.

Performance Management

  • Drive end-to-end performance management of Advisors and Agency Leaders to achieve targets in headcount, production, activation, retention, and segmentation.

  • Conduct regular business reviews with Agency Leaders to assess results, identify gaps, and agree on focused action plans.

  • Implement performance interventions and coaching support to address underperformance and strengthen leader effectiveness.

  • Monitor compliance with performance standards, validation requirements, and governance processes across assigned Regions or Branches.

  • Work closely with Agency Development and Expansion teams to improve execution quality, field discipline, and sustainable business outcomes.

Program Execution

  • Lead execution ofregionalprograms covering recruitment, onboarding, activation, training, and productivity improvement in line with approved business priorities.

  • Cascade company initiatives, campaigns, and operational directives through structured field engagements and leadership forums.

  • Ensure timely implementation, accurate reporting, documentation, and audit readiness for all assigned programs and activities.

  • Evaluate field cases and business requests within authority levels and provide sound recommendations for escalation or approval when needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Management, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

  • 4-6 years of experience in sales, business development, agency management, or field leadership, preferably in life insurance or financial services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, activation, performance management, and agency development programs.

  • Experience working with Agency Leaders, Branch Heads, or regional stakeholders to support busines s growth and execution.

  • Strong planning, execution, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Able to manage performance and multiple priorities with sound judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail.
