Business Development Manager

QUALIFICATION:

EDUCATION : Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
EXPERIENCE : Minimum of 5 years experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within the power or energy sector.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the power generation, distribution, and energy services markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.
• Prepare and review business proposals, feasibility studies, and financial models to assess potential projects and partnerships.
• Conduct market research and analysis to monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, legal, and finance teams to develop and negotiate contracts, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and joint ventures.
• Support bidding processes for government and private sector energy projects.
• Maintain an accurate and updated pipeline of leads and opportunities; provide regular forecasts and reports to management.
• Promote the company's brand and capabilities at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, environmental standards, and corporate governance policies.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
