The Business Development Manager will primarily focus on client onboarding, after-sales support, and conducting market research. This role will involve pitching and client acquisition activities.
Job Description
- Lead in pitching Scoring Technology Inc.s products to prospective clients, including banks and lending companies.
- Facilitate the acquisition of new clients by preparing presentations, proposals, and participating in key meetings.
- Lead the client onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation and technical requirements are gathered and met.
- Provide after-sales support, acting as the main point of contact for clients during project implementation and beyond.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely billing, payment tracking, and handling overdue invoices.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to provide valuable insights for client targeting and partnership development.
- Work as a team with the product, data scientist, and engineer to improve the product knowledge
- Contribute to internal policy and process development to support business growth and client management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in the credit bureau, financial services, or lending industry in the Philippines, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Strong understanding of the local lending landscape. Experience in start-up, credit bureau, and/or credit risk management is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google suites
- Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
- Self-starter, capable of working in a dynamic, early-stage environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage both BD activities and administrative tasks effectively
