Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets for the Personal Care Raw Ingredients portfolio.
Identify and acquire new customers, including cosmetics, skincare, haircare, toiletries, and personal care manufacturers.
Manage and grow relationships with existing customers by understanding their formulation and ingredient requirements.
Promote specialty and commodity ingredients through customer presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
Collaborate with principal suppliers and internal technical teams to introduce new products and innovative ingredient solutions.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, market developments, and competitor activities.
Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and pipeline reports.
Negotiate pricing, supply agreements, and commercial terms with customers.
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Regulatory, Technical Service, and Customer Service teams to ensure excellent customer support.
Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and customer events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or key account management within the personal care ingredients, specialty chemicals, or cosmetic raw materials industry.
Strong knowledge of personal care formulations and raw materials, including surfactants, emollients, emulsifiers, preservatives, active ingredients, silicones, polymers, botanical extracts, fragrances, and specialty additives.
Established network within the personal care and cosmetics manufacturing industry is an advantage.
Excellent sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
Willing to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
