Job Summary:

The Philippines is a key growth market for the Motul Asia Pacific Group. This position holder will be required to support the expansion of our distribution network in Northern Mindanao

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Support and conduct field visits with distributors sales force
  • Collect and collate market information to help and support the strategic plan for our distributors. In addition, contribute to developing go-to-market strategies for our distributors
  • Comprehensively evaluate the potential and current distributors and new channel opportunities
  • Seek out new retail opportunities for our distributors
  • Contribute to the training for our customers, together with our distributors and retailers

Job Responsibilities:

Channel Management

  • Evaluate the current retail network in the market and identify opportunities for increasing the network
  • Liaise with distributors on all retail activities: Product launch, update, and marketing communications, Training plan with the technical service team, promotion and advertisement
  • Help to deploy in the incentive program for/with distributors
  • Measure the impact of the promotion and advertisement/campaign action
  • Deploy the trade promotion and sell-out plans with distributors
  • Support and coach the distributors sales team in value selling and pipeline management
  • Identify key partnerships/channels (eg. with OEMs, regional distributors) that could further be leveraged upon, in the short and long term to support the regional growth vision

Execution and Operations

  • Analysis of market data and distributor's sell-through to study trend and to set growth target for the distribution in each region to increase market share
  • Propose and improve the business plans and objectives to the distributors with respect to the market
  • Distributor operations and planning: Monitor distributors operations, their channel network and provide consultative advices on improving sell-through, growth, and target achievements.
  • Aggressive monitoring on monthly purchase, sales, and inventory (PSI) status of distributors to ensure overall bi-yearly targets are being achieved
  • Sales and Operations (S&OP): Serve as the key champion of S&OP process for the organization

Job Requirements:

Work Experience

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in BA or other related fields/disciplines
  • At least 5 years experience managing sales/BD in Mindanao, Philippines
  • Exposure to automotive industry, after market and lubricant

Tool Requirement

  • Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
