About the role

We are hiring a Business Development Manager to grow our presence across the JAPAC region, based out of Manila. This role is built around one mission: fill the pipeline with quality. You will be responsible for qualifying inbound and outbound leads into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), booking high-value appointments for the senior sales team, and closing deals within your own assigned accounts. You are the bridge between marketing and revenue.

What you'll do

•      Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into MQLs using defined ICP criteria

•      Conduct discovery calls with JAPAC prospects to assess fit, budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT)

•      Progress MQLs into SQLs by confirming business pain, decision-making process, and purchase intent

•      Book qualified appointments and product demos for the senior sales team across JAPAC accounts

•      Own a set of assigned accounts end-to-end — from first contact through to deal closure

•      Execute structured outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate net-new pipeline

•      Partner closely with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness

•      Maintain accurate CRM records of all lead activity, qualification notes, and pipeline stages

•      Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets for MQL volume, SQL conversion rate, appointments booked, and revenue closed

•      Represent the company at JAPAC-focused virtual and in-person industry events

What we're looking for

•      2–8 years of B2B sales, inside sales, or business development experience

•      Solid understanding of the MQL-to-SQL funnel and lead qualification frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, CHAMP)

•      Proven track record of hitting appointment-setting and pipeline generation targets

•      Experience selling into or working with JAPAC accounts — Japan, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, India, or Southeast Asia

•      Excellent English communication skills — written and spoken; ability to work across time zones

•      Strong outbound prospecting skills: cold email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold calling

•      CRM proficiency: Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent

•      Self-motivated, data-driven, and comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment

•      Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
