Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in IT staffing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, generating job requirements, and driving revenue growth by working closely with the recruiting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new direct clients in the US IT staffing market
- Generate consistent job requirements from clients
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle (lead generation to closure)
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Work closely with recruiters to ensure timely submissions and closures
- Negotiate billing rates, contracts, and terms
- Expand existing accounts and identify upselling opportunities
- Maintain sales pipeline, reports, and forecasts
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT staffing business development (US market)
- Proven track record of bringing direct clients and closing deals
- Strong understanding of IT technologies (Java, .NET, Cloud, Data, etc.)
- Experience with W2, C2C, and 1099 hiring models
- Knowledge of VMS/MSP environments
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment

- Existing client network / book of business
- Experience working with state or federal clients
- Ability to handle BD + Account Management responsibilities
