Evaluate existing partnerships of the group and provide strategies to grow the
business.
Provides market feedback to top management regarding competitive offerings
and market needs.
Identifies profitable business opportunities and provides strategic direction to
the business development team.
Researches emerging industry trends and directs the corporate strategy group
to expand research and study, and marketing to expand marketing efforts.
Spearheads territory planning and management to spot and close
opportunities and guides Business Development Managers in formulating
strategy and game plan (i.e. account plan, industry study, etc).
Provides direction to the team to position business proposals as a win-win
engagement by emphasizing the unique value proposition and ROI for the
client.
Monitors the status of business proposals and provides direction to close
internal and external dependencies.
Forms Strategic Partnerships with C-level decision-makers to influence and
promote sales.
Identifies dependencies and opportunities for process enhancements if
necessary.
Develops strategies to address under-performance and compliance failures,
including application of contract terms.
Negotiates variations and seeks appropriate authorization.
Actively supports and engages with experts and stakeholders to ensure
continuous improvements are identified through review and benchmarking
processes.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
- Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent; Master's
Degree is ideal
- Related Experience At least 7 years of experience in selling relevant IT products
and services
Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies
and solutions
Must have experience working in a corporate/business-focused
environment
Proven track record of successfully pitching for new business
Proven track record of increasing revenue through discovering new
business opportunities and key accounts.
Should have significant experience in leading and managing people
Should have experience in issues management and resolution
Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and
latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.
