Business Development Manager

About the Company
Vertaccount, a global finance & accounting outsourcing firm with a Honolulu presence, is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our footprint among Hawaii's small and mid-sized businesses.
This is a relationship-driven role in a relationship market. The ideal candidate is deeply embedded in the Honolulu business community and thrives on networking, referrals, and long-term trust building.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain strong relationships within Honolulu's business community
- Actively network through chambers, associations, and industry events
- Develop referral partnerships with CPAs, attorneys, bankers, and advisors
- Prospect and close new B2B clients
- Manage the full sales cycle from introduction to contract
- Provide market insights and pipeline updates to leadership
What We're Looking For:
- 8+ yearsofbusiness development or B2B sales experience
- Strong local network in Honolulupreferred
- Experience serving small and mid-sized businesses
- Background instaffing, accounting, or professional servicesis a plus
- Self-directed, mature professional comfortable working independently
- Appreciation for cross-cultural collaboration; experience working with Philippine-based teams is a plus
