About the Role:

We are currently looking for a highly driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager (PHILGEPS Experience) to join our team remotely and lead GT Rentals PH's client acquisition and revenue growth strategy. This role is essential in expanding our presence in both private and public sectors, building long-term partnerships, and securing new business opportunities through formal bidding channels such as PHILGEPS.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new leads, managing end-to-end sales activities, and developing strategic relationships with corporate clients and government agencies. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing and Operations teams and report directly to company leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development and Client Acquisition

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors such as government agencies, corporate leasing, airport transport, and tourism.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, hotels, travel agencies, and local businesses.
  • Manage and execute PHILGEPS bidding requirements and documentation for relevant opportunities.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and competitor offerings.
  • Negotiate rental and leasing agreements that meet client needs while aligning with business goals.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to create promotional campaigns and B2B service packages.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Represent GT Rentals at expos, networking events, and industry functions to enhance visibility and attract prospects.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Provide timely and detailed reports to management on pipeline progress, closed deals, and revenue performance.

Qualifications:

Technical Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Experience in the car rental, leasing, automotive, or travel industry strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with PHILGEPS bidding processes and documentation is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Professional, persuasive, and client-focused demeanor.
  • Willingness to travel locally for meetings, events, and client visits.
