The Business Development & Key Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening key customer relationships, and expanding market presence within the industrial lubricants sector in the Philippines.
This role focuses on managing major industrial accounts, particularly within the mining sector, while identifying new business opportunities and supporting distributor performance. The position plays a critical role in achieving sales targets and ensuring long-term customer retention through value-driven solutions.
Key Account Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with major industrial and mining customers.
Understand customer operations and requirements to deliver tailored lubricant solutions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across relevant industrial sectors.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market share and revenue.
Expand existing accounts while acquiring new customers.
Channel & Distributor Management
Identify, onboard, and manage local and regional distributors.
Provide training, product knowledge, and sales support to distributor teams.
Monitor distributor performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
Provide recommendations to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Reporting & Forecasting
Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and account reviews.
Track KPIs and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management.
Experience in industrial lubricants, chemicals, or industrial products is preferred.
Strong understanding of the mining industry in the Philippines is highly desirable.
Proven track record in business development and distributor/channel management.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English proficiency in Filipino is an advantage.
