A leading multinational manufacturing company in the FMCG packaging space is seeking a Business Development Manager to support revenue growth, key account management, and new business acquisition in the Philippines market.
This role sits at the intersection of strategic account management and hands-on business development, working closely with regional leadership and cross-functional teams (operations, supply chain, QA, and finance).
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow key B2B accounts, primarily FMCG, personal care, oral care, and related sectors
Drive new business development, including prospecting, pipeline building, and conversion of new customers
Support the development and execution of sales strategies, pricing, and commercial negotiations
Work closely with internal stakeholders (production, planning, quality, supply chain) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
Prepare sales forecasts, business reviews, and management reports for regional stakeholders
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities
Support contract renewals, commercial discussions, and long-term partnership development
Act as deputy to the Sales Head, with potential to take on broader leadership responsibilities over time
Requirements
Minimum 7-8 years of experience in Business Development within B2B manufacturing or FMCG-related industries (OEM / ODM)
Experience in laminated tube packaging products is a plus
Strong exposure to key account management and structured sales environments
Experience dealing with multinational customers and cross-functional internal teams
Commercially sharp, with solid negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working in a process-driven, KPI-focused organization
Background in packaging, plastics, FMCG supply chain, or manufacturing is a strong advantage
