Job Description

Summary of Position

The role of a Business Development Manager will be crucial in ensuring the success of the company's growth in the ecommerce industry, with a particular emphasis on B2B and emerging channels. He or she should have an extensive knowledge of the industry and be capable of identifying fresh revenue growth opportunities.This position requires spearheading the formulation and implementation of a strategic sales plan to attain business objectives and revenue goals, while also overseeing day-to-day business development and relations activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales and Account Management (Managerial Responsibility)

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve business objectives and revenue goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and target customers through market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with new clients and partners.
  • Develop and present proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients and partners.
  • Opens new business opportunities in online and offline commerce.

Marketing and Branding (Managerial Responsibility)

  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to drive revenue growth.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and industry events to build a network and stay current with industry developments.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and target customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competition, and market developments.

Team Management and Development(Managerial Responsibility)

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to the commercial, digital and other teams.
  • Ensures developmental team goals and business growth goals are met.
  • Provide training and support to personnel to help team members develop their skills. (Individual Contributor)
  • Lead and oversee the successful onboarding and transition of emerging channels, such as TikTok, by determining the necessary resources and ensuring that the process is executed smoothly and efficiently.

Administrative Duties (Individual Contributor)

  • Use computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics.
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage complex projects.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Validate and recheck contracts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Drafting, reviewing and analyzing legal agreements to identify areas for improvement and potential risks, and making recommendations to management accordingly.
  • Work with both our internal team and external partners to make sure legal agreements are carried out promptly.
