Role Overview The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving new business growth, expanding market presence, and building strong B2B partnerships. This role requires a highly driven hunter-type professional with strong experience in trading, distribution, or manufacturing environments who understands how to support clients through solution- based selling. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, penetrating new accounts, and developing long-term commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across consumer and healthcare sectors
. Drive B2B sales growth by acquiring new clients and expanding market reach . Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company
goals . Engage with manufacturers, distributors, and direct customers to offer tailored
packaging solutions . Understand client needs and provide value-driven technical and commercial
support . Build strong networks within FMCG, pharmaceutical, and related industries . Collaborate with technical, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver end-to-
end customer solutions . Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging industry demands . Negotiate commercial agreements and manage the full sales cycle from
prospecting to closing
Qualifications & Experience
. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field . Strong background in Business Development or Sales within a B2B environment
. Experience in trading, distribution, or manufacturing-side sales is highly preferred
. Exposure to packaging, raw materials, or chemical-related industries is an advantage
. FMCG or Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus (strong industry network beneficial)
. Proven ability to generate new business (hunter mindset) while also capable of growing accounts
. Experience supporting clients through solution selling and technical discussions . Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
