  • Position: Business Development Lead PVL Partnerships
  • Reporting to: CEO/Head of Sales and Partnerships
  • Location: Metro Manila, Philippines

About The Role

Echelon Sports is looking for a Business Development Lead in charge of growing our client base and expanding partnerships within the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with brands and stakeholders and supporting revenue-generating initiatives tied to PVL campaigns in close collaboration with the companys senior leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 36 years experience in sales, account management, partnerships, or business development
  • Experience in sports, media, entertainment, or agencies is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and close deals
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Commercially sharp, organized, and comfortable handling multiple accounts
  • Professional, reliable, and able to represent the brand confidently

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Lead Generation
  • Identify and prospect potential clients (brands, sponsors, agencies) aligned with the PVL and sports audiences
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of partnership opportunities
  • Conduct market research on brand trends, sponsorship activity, and competitor landscape
  • Spot trends across sports, creators, and social that can turn into deals
  • Partnership & Client Management
  • Assist in building and nurturing relationships with brand partners, PVL stakeholders, and athlete representatives
  • Support pitch development, presentations, and proposal creation tailored to client objectives
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
  • Sales Support & Strategy
  • Help craft integrated marketing proposals (e.g athlete engagements, digital content, on-ground activations, etc.)
  • Contribute to pricing strategies, deal structuring, and contract negotiations
  • Track and report on sales performance, leads, and conversion rates
  • Campaign Alignment
  • Work closely with content and strategy teams to align business opportunities with ongoing PVL campaigns
  • Ensure partner deliverables are aligned with social-first storytelling and fan engagement strategies
