Job Summary
The Head of Business Development serves as the primary strategic growth driver and brand ambassador for our collections operations in the Philippines. This executive role is responsible for the full lifecycle of partner acquisition, from identifying high-value opportunities within the Banking, FinTech, and Financial Institution (FI) sectors to leading complex, end-to-end onboarding process.
Core Pillars of the Role:
Strategic Partnerships & Client Onboarding
- End-to-End Onboarding: Lead the seamless transition of new banking and fintech partners, ensuring that integration, compliance, and service-level agreements (SLAs)are met with precision.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary strategic point of contact for C-suite and key decision-makers, focusing on account expansion and long-term loyalty.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the company at major industry events (e.g, CCAP, BAIPHIL) to boost brand visibility and establish market authority.
Sales Operations & Strategy
- Revenue Growth: Develop and execute data-driven sales strategies specifically designed to penetrate the Philippine financial sector.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee the full sales funnel, providing accurate forecasting and performance metrics to the executive team.
- Process Innovation: Design and refine scalable workflows and automation system to shorten deal cycles and improve conversion rates.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of regulatory changes (BSP circulars), competitor moves, and emerging fintech trends to pivot strategies effectively.
Events & Market Engagement
- Lead Generation Events: Organize and lead company-hosted roadshows, webinars, and presentations aimed at educating potential partners on the value of ethical and efficient collections.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, with at least 4 years in the Collection or Banking industry.
- Network: Proven track record of existing relationships within Philippine Banks, Lending Apps, and FinTechs.
- Expertise: Deep understanding of the FDCPA guidelines (or local equivalents)and BSP regulations regarding dept collection.
- Technical: Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce/HubSpot) and data visualization tools.
