Job Description

Kredivo Philippines is looking for a driven and results-oriented Mid-level Business Development Executive to lead merchant acquisition and partnership growth for our Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) and credit solutions. This role is ideal for a professional with at least 2 to 3 years of experience in business development, partnerships in fintech, who is passionate about expanding financial access and driving commercial growth across key industries.

Key Responsibilities

Merchant Acquisition & Relationship Management

● Source, pitch, onboard, manage key brands or merchant partners spanning retail, mobile, e-commerce, travel,lifestyle industries, etc.

● Build credible, long-term relationships with merchant decision-makers and stakeholders

● Work hand-in-hand with merchants to grow adoption and transaction volume for Kredivo's BNPL offering

Partnership Development

● Own or assist in commercial negotiations from start to finish and close agreements with merchants and ecosystem partners

● Scout opportunities for co-branded or exclusive tie-ups

Cross-functional Collaboration

● Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Risk, and Operations to ensure partnerships are rolled out smoothly

● Help plan and execute campaigns alongside both internal teams and external partners Market Intelligence & Strategy

● Keep a pulse on competitor moves, industry shifts, and consumer behavior within the BNPL and credit space

● Feed insights and recommendations into product development and market expansion plans

Performance Tracking & Reporting

● Track merchant performance and key commercial metrics, including GMV, conversion rates, and new customer acquisition

● Spot growth opportunities or red flags through data analysis and merchant feedback

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline

● At least 2 to 3 years experience in business development, partnerships, or account management, ideally within fintech, payments, or consumer finance

● Track record of closing commercial deals and managing ongoing partner relationships

● Solid communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities

● Thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting

● Exposure to digital payments, BNPL, or credit card ecosystems is a plus
