Job Description

Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company located in BGC, Taguig, is looking for a Business Development and Alliances Manager (or Sr. Manager depending on experience and competency). The role will report to the General Manager and is an individual contributor.

The Business Development & Alliance Manager is a strategic role responsible for driving the company's growth through the identification, assessment, and implementation of new business opportunities. This position acts as the architect of the New Products Planning process and the primary custodian of Alliance Management, ensuring that both internal stakeholders and external partners are aligned to achieve shared corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic business development: Prepare and present sophisticated business cases and proposals for local and regional senior management approval.

Financial and portfolio mastery: Demonstrate strong financial acumen through in-depth P&L analysis across various financial models. Navigate strategic work across diverse therapeutic areas for both local and regional projects.

New product strategy: New Products Assessment, Preparation of Business Cases, Launch Turnover/ Implementation with Commercial Business Units

Alliance management: Identify new business opportunities arising from within existing partnerships.

Business intelligence/market research: Ensure completion of Primary Market Research requirements (UAI, Brand Trackers, Qualitative studies, etc.)

Corporate planning excellence: Financial planning and budget standard Company Templates/ Charts; Macroeconomic and Industry data

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Marketing, Business/ Management; MBA an advantage

• Very good understanding of New Products Planning (Assessment and Launch Implementation)

• Keen to details, can produce in-depth analysis of data and market research reports thus able to provide insightful business proposals

• Excellent Analytical, Communication, Influencing & Presentation Skills

• Keen understanding of Alliance Management (Contractual terms, negotiations)

• Knowledgeable and experienced in Business Intelligence/Analytics, Market Research (Primary/Secondary) and Brand Management

• Excellent preparation of forecasting models and business cases/ presentations for Local and Regional Senior Management Approval

• Has good internal and external network
