The professional selected for this position will support the Broadspire Business Development team's sales efforts by providing data and information. The primary function will be to create, collect, and maintain key statistics that support sales initiatives. Some of this information will be qualitative, gathered through online research on prospects or meeting attendees, while other data will be developed through analysis of Salesforce records.

Responsibilities

  • Extract and analyze Salesforce data on an ad hoc basis (e.g., create a list of prospects within the last five years who have declined our services).
  • Maintain a library of companywide statistics for proposals and presentations (e.g., number of employees by division, number of claims by service type).
  • Answer sales team questions about our current book of business (e.g., how many active clients we have in a given industry or what percentage of our book of business is in key industries).
  • Create prospect profiles including locations, key contacts, industry, mission/vision/values, culture, news headlines, etc.
  • Profile entire industries and develop playbooks that highlight our expertise in those industries.
  • Monitor competitive intelligence and regularly update the team on important news and trends.
  • Upload spreadsheet-based data into our customer relationship management system (Salesforce).
  • Coordinate with the Salesforce team to create leadership dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree The ideal candidate will likely be in the early stages of their career, with a few years of experience and strong potential for growth.
  • 35 years of experience in data analysis
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and report development
  • Proficiency in Business English (B2 or C1 level)
  • Strong interpersonal and adaptable communication skills
  • Effective self-management, including the ability to define steps to achieve research objectives
  • Proactive and resourceful, capable of building and leveraging internal networks
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands
  • Strong organizational skills for managing materials and information
  • Competence in conducting both primary and secondary research
  • Analytical skills to draw meaningful conclusions and produce clear, concise summaries
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • No certifications required
  • No travel required
  • Must have at least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern Standard Time working hours
