About the Role

The Business Development and Sales Manager will lead the end-to-end sales, client engagement, and market expansion efforts for our enterprise healthcare systems. This role requires deep knowledge of healthcare workflows and medical systems, as selling HIS/CMS is significantly more complex than selling teleconsult passes or consumer telemed products.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop, execute, and refine sales strategies for HIS, CMS, Mini-CMS, and all enterprise medical systems.
  • Identify market opportunities across private hospitals, clinic networks, LGUs, RHUs, and diagnostic centers.
  • Create Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies that include segment prioritization, pricing, bundling (HIS + CMS + HealthHub + Teleconsult), and value positioning.
  • Support Product and Tech teams in drafting product enhancements based on client discovery and BRS engagements.

Client Relationship & Industry Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with hospital administrators, medical directors, CIOs, LGU health officers, and clinical department heads.
  • Lead client discovery, early requirements gathering, and solution positioning.
  • Present system capabilities tailored to clinical, operational, and financial workflows.
  • Represent the company in healthcare associations, DOH/PhilHealth digital forums, LGU events, and industry conferences.

Sales Operations and Team Leadership

  • Manage day-to-day sales activities and mentor a growing BD/Sales team.
  • Ensure team mastery of HIS/CMS modules, clinical workflows, PhilHealth eClaims, RIS/LIS/ERP integrations, and DOH/PhilHealth requirements.
  • Implement structured pursuit plans including follow-ups, scoping, BRS, and proposal cycles.
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline with weekly movement updates.

Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management

  • Build and manage a high-value pipeline across hospitals, clinics, and LGUs.
  • Ensure consistent engagement throughout the extended enterprise sales cycle typical of HIS/CMS products.
  • Lead contract negotiations, MSA/SOW drafting, and turnover to the Implementation Team.
  • Coordinate pricing structures, financial evaluation, and ROI arguments with internal Stakeholders.

Sales Enablement & Proposal Development

  • Create and enhance proposal templates, pitch decks, costing sheets, BRS summaries, and solution briefs.
  • Conduct HIS/CMS demos tailored to hospital or clinic requirements.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to produce sales kits, case studies, brochures, and enterprise presentations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Allied Health, IT, Business, or any healthcare-related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare IT, hospital systems, clinic operations, HIS/CMS/EMR sales, or similar roles.
  • Experience drafting and understanding hospital/clinic workflows, HIS/CMS requirements, and integration needs.
  • Strong background in healthcare operations, hospital processes, or clinical workflows.
  • Ability to translate clinical/operational pain points into system requirements or solutions.
  • Experience in enterprise/solutions sales (not consumer/telemed sales).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • Nursing or medical background (RN preferred but not required).
  • Experience participating in BRS sessions or drafting functional specs for hospital/clinic systems.
  • Working knowledge of:
  • EMR, HIS, CMS modules
  • LIS/RIS/ERP integrations
  • PhilHealth eClaims and Konsulta/Yakap
  • DOH and data privacy regulations
  • Experience selling to hospitals, diagnostic centers, and LGUs.
  • Familiarity with enterprise bidding, procurement routes, and government LGU processes.
