About the Role
Reality Marble is a holding company that acquires media assets, agencies, and opportunistically, other small and medium-sized businesses.
We are looking to hire a Deal Sourcing & Business Development Associate to help us identify, research, and connect with potential acquisition targets. This is a highly outbound-focused role, so candidates must be comfortable with cold email outreach, follow-ups, CRM management, and handling initial conversations with business brokers and business owners.
This role is primarily focused on managing and improving our outbound sourcing process. You will help build targeted lead lists, run email campaigns, track responses, follow up with prospects, and maintain clean records of outreach activity. The goal is to consistently identify business owners, brokers, and intermediaries who may have relevant acquisition opportunities.
The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and comfortable working with outreach tools, spreadsheets, CRMs, and online research. Experience with cold email campaigns, prospecting, lead scraping, data cleaning, and email deliverability is highly valuable.
This is not a finance-heavy role. You do not need deep accounting, valuation, or financial modeling experience. The main focus is sourcing: finding the right contacts, running disciplined outreach campaigns, and helping convert responses into potential deal conversations.
Experience building relationships with business brokers, intermediaries, and acquisition advisors is a strong plus, but not strictly required.
Key Responsibilities- Manage outbound email campaigns to source acquisition opportunities
- Build targeted lead lists of business owners, brokers, intermediaries, and other relevant contacts
- Research companies, industries, and contact information using online tools and databases
- Scrape, clean, organize, and enrich lead data for outreach campaigns
- Upload and manage contact lists in email outreach tools, CRMs, and spreadsheets
- Write, test, and improve outreach sequences, subject lines, and follow-up messages
- Monitor campaign performance, including open rates, reply rates, bounce rates, and deliverability
- Track responses, qualify interested leads, and flag potential acquisition opportunities
- Follow up consistently with prospects, brokers, and intermediary contacts
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, conversations, and deal flow
- Help improve sourcing processes, campaign systems, and lead generation workflows over time
- Optional but valuable: build and maintain relationships with business brokers and acquisition advisors
Qualifications
Required- Strong written English communication skills
- Experience managing outbound email campaigns, lead generation, or prospecting
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and keeping lead data organized
- Good internet research skills for finding companies, contacts, and relevant decision-makers
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling contact lists and campaign data
- Able to work independently and manage follow-ups consistently
Preferred- Experience scraping, cleaning, or enriching lead lists
- Familiarity with cold email tools, CRMs, LinkedIn, and email verification tools
- Basic understanding of cold email performance metrics such as reply rates, bounce rates, and deliverability
- Experience reaching out to business owners, brokers, executives, or professional service providers
- Experience building relationships with brokers, intermediaries, or referral partners

This role is focused on sourcing and outreach, not financial analysis. The main job is to help find the right contacts, run organized campaigns, manage follow-ups, and surface potential acquisition opportunities.
