Location: Remote (supporting Calgary, AB operations)

Job Type: Full-time

Framerz Inc. is a structural framing and prefab company serving residential and commercial builders across Alberta. We focus on quality workmanship, reliable project execution, safety, and strong client relationships.

We are hiring a Business Development & Bid Coordinator to support business development activities, estimating coordination, and bid administration. This role is responsible for organizing opportunities, tracking project activity, coordinating bid documentation, and supporting communication across internal teams and clients.

This position is best suited for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Business Development Support

  • Track leads, bid opportunities, and client communications
  • Assist with outreach and follow-up communication
  • Maintain CRM records and prospect tracking systems
  • Support relationship management with builders, developers, and contractors

Bid & Estimating Coordination

  • Monitor incoming bid requests and project correspondence
  • Organize drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Coordinate quote timelines, submissions, and follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate bid tracking and project records

Workflow & Reporting

  • Update opportunity trackers and pipeline reports
  • Monitor deadlines and outstanding items
  • Support workflow improvements and process organization
  • Maintain organized digital files and documentation

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and dependable
  • Comfortable learning new systems and software
  • Experience with Excel, CRM systems, SharePoint, LinkedIn, or construction bid platforms is an asset
  • Experience with VBA, Python, AI tools, or workflow automation is considered an asset
  • Experience in business development support, estimating coordination, project coordination, administration, or the construction industry preferred

About The Role

This role focuses on coordination, organization, communication, and workflow support across sales and estimating operations. It is not an outside sales role or a senior estimator position.
