Your Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Development Admin to support our sales team with administrative and research tasks. This role will focus on maintaining clean data, supporting sales activities, and helping ensure our CRM remains accurate and up to date. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to learn and grow within the business development function.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain CRM records, including account information, contact details, and deal status
- Enter detailed notes from sales appointments and ensure data alignment across the system
- Conduct online research on prospects, industries, and companies to enrich CRM data
- Organize and track outreach activities to support sales operations and set meetings for the BD team
- Assist with reporting and tracking pipeline progress
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide timely admin support
- Nice to Have: Assist with occasional outbound cold calls or emails to support lead generation efforts
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- 1-2 years administrative experience
- Strong written communication skills for note-taking, documentation, and internal updates
- Proven accuracy in maintaining records (contact details, account information, notes, statuses)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to collaborate closely with sales team members and respond to requests promptly
Preferred skills/expertise:- Previous experience using a CRM (e.g., Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Experience supporting a sales or business development team
- Experience conducting prospect or market research
