Position Summary
The Business Development & Marketing Officer works closely with the Marketing Head to identify growth opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and conceptualize innovative brand campaigns, collaborations, and product ideas. This role requires a highly creative, out-of-the-box thinker with a strong understanding of consumer behavior, branding, and cultural trends. The ideal candidate can spot emerging trends, anticipate their trajectory, and transform insights into original concepts that drive both brand equity and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
● Work closely with the Marketing Head to develop original brand campaigns, collaborations, product concepts, and customer experiences.
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and revenue-generating initiatives.
● Conceptualize creative marketing ideas that differentiate the brand and create commercial value.
● Research consumer behavior, market movements, and emerging trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
● Anticipate trend trajectories and apply relevant insights to branding, product development, and marketing initiatives.
● Prepare partnership proposals, pitch decks, and presentations.
● Build and maintain relationships with brand partners, agencies, media, creators, and other stakeholders.
● Coordinate the execution of collaborative marketing initiatives across internal and external teams.
● Analyze campaign and partnership performance and recommend future opportunities.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
● 2–5 years of experience in business development, brand marketing, partnerships, or account management.
● Highly creative with the ability to think beyond conventional marketing approaches and develop original concepts for brands, products, and collaborations.
● Strong understanding of branding, consumer behavior, and integrated marketing.
● Excellent knowledge of cultural trends and the ability to identify emerging movements before they become mainstream.
● Exceptional presentation, storytelling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
