Job Description

The role focuses on delivering Business Analysis capabilities to both new and ongoing projects and product initiatives within the Technology & Transformation department. With a global scope, many projects aim to provide solutions across

all countries within the Group.

The role involves the execution of end-to-end Business Analysis duties related to the implementation of new digital products, commercially available applications, and ongoing projects. Responsibilities include eliciting and comprehending business needs, ensuring thorough analysis, accurate documentation, and effective communication of requirements to relevant stakeholders. The role requires the incumbent to collaborate and work effectively as part of multiple teams, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently when necessary.

Specifically, the role emphasizes completing Business Analysis tasks related to the implementation and/or migration of data products (such as data warehouses, reports, and data analytics) and ensuring seamless integration into the existing portfolio of systems and services. Collaboration with business users

and Technology & Transformation functions is integral to defining integration requirements, encompassing the establishment of mappings and use cases for new integrations, as well as maintaining comprehensive documentation for existing integrations to ensure their relevance and accuracy.

You will become part of a team who are responsible for all analysis work and deliverables on a variety of business change and technology products and projects. You will gain exposure on a global scale, with many engagements

providing solutions for use in all countries within the group but could also be delivering on a local level too.

Scope of Role

  • Responsible for facilitating transformation and bringing a view of what good looks like on each project initiative
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business processes and industry trends
  • Communicate, collaborate, and challenge stakeholders at all levels of the business, including up to C-level execs
  • Work closely with Data Engineering developers to deliver high-quality requirements documentation
  • Build trusting and productive relationships with the business and IT teams to deliver effective solutions based on a deep understanding of business process
  • Work independently with users/stakeholders to define concepts and under direction of Business Analysis Manager/Business Analyst Team Leader and/or Project Manager (where applicable)
  • Manage and be responsible for the business analysis tasks in assigned projects throughout their lifecycle
  • Elicit requirements from internal and external stakeholders using various business analysis methods
  • Critical evaluation of information and processes gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details
  • Analyse and document the As-Is & To-Be processes
  • Convert business requirements into functional solutions
  • Perform data analysis, mapping, and investigations against live and incoming systems
  • Perform investigation and analysis to develop strong working knowledge of all integration functions, associated interfaces, and business systems
  • Continual assessment of the integrations available and the ability to contribute to maintain, amend and develop existing integrations, and to scope and test integrations between new and existing business systems as requirements
  • Contribute to definition of standards, guidelines, and best practices, as well as ensuring overall integration, compatibility, and effectiveness of systems
  • Perform change impact assessment by analysing how the proposed change will impact different aspects of the organisation including processes, people, and technology
  • Document analysis work using standard format artefacts
  • Production of critical documentation required for integrations, including connectivity and field mappings
  • Support the design and implementation of solutions to meet the defined customer requirements
  • Answer any processes or requirements related questions raised during UAT sessions
  • Participate in the creation of training/user guides where necessary

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years proven Product, Integration and/or Data Analysis experience
  • Have worked on a minimum of 5 projects in Business Analyst capacity
  • Experience in working with data management standards, including data governance, data controls, and data lineage.
  • Data warehouse experience (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle, and Redshift)
  • Data analysis, reviewing & manipulating CSV, XML, JSON data experience
  • Experience of API's and API tools (e.g., Postman) desirable
  • Someone who is curious, collaborative, enthusiastic, passionate and exhibits a positive energy
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal skills, who is keen to learn, but can also work independently
  • Good organisation and time management skills with the ability to work
  • to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent documentation skills with emphasis on applying quality control activities before sign-off
  • Ability to work across multiple time zone
  • Strong communicator with the ability to effectively communicate with project/product business sponsor and stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively challenge stakeholders and requirements to ensure product deliverable aligns to corporate strategy
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in relation to process, data, and systems with strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of how to interpret customer/business needs and translate them into requirements
  • Ability to recognise potential risks to projects, documenting and escalating them whilst seeking to simultaneously avoid or mitigate their impact
  • Experience in process diagrams (UML modelling, BPMN)
  • Competency with MS Office 365 suit of application (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc)
  • Knowledge in using Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence) and Lucidchart
  • Good understanding of Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies
  • Previous experience of CRM solutions is desirable
  • Good understanding of Change Management
  • Strategic thinking and a big-picture awareness in relation to changes being delivered by project
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Business analysis qualifications not essential but desirable (CBAP, BCS, PMI-PBA)
