Business Consultant (Business Audit Specialist)
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Consultant who can conduct a full business audit and provide actionable recommendations to improve company operations, workflows, team efficiency, and overall business performance.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in process improvement, workflow analysis, operational strategy, and business optimization. This can be an individual consultant or an established consulting company with a proven track record and professional online presence.
This is primarily a project-based / one-time consultancy engagement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of current business operations, workflows, and internal processes
- Review company structure, communication flow, and operational efficiency
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
- Analyze team productivity, systems, SOPs, and reporting structures
- Recommend scalable operational strategies and workflow improvements
- Provide actionable insights and implementation recommendations
- Create business audit reports and improvement roadmaps
- Collaborate with management and department leads to gather operational insights
- Evaluate current tools, systems, and process automations
- Suggest best practices for business optimization and operational growth
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Business Consultant, Operations Consultant, or Business Audit Specialist
- Strong background in business process improvement and workflow optimization
- Experience conducting operational audits for startups, agencies, or growing businesses
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with SOP creation, KPI evaluation, and operational frameworks is a plus
- Preferably has portfolio, case studies, LinkedIn profile, or company website showcasing previous consulting projects
