Business and IT Audit Officer

CIMB Bank Philippines is looking for a Business and IT Audit Officer to join our Internal Audit Team. This role plays a vital part in strengthening the bank's risk management and internal control environment through business and IT audits, advisory engagements, and collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business and IT audit assignments in accordance with the approved audit plan, internal audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assess risks, control weaknesses, and compliance gaps, and provide practical recommendations to strengthen processes and controls.
• Participate in advisory and consulting engagements, providing independent guidance on controls, compliance, and risk management for bank projects.
• Validate management action plans and remediation efforts, ensuring audit findings are appropriately addressed and controls are effectively implemented.
• Collaborate with senior management, business units, Risk and Compliance teams, technology teams, external auditors, and regulators on audit and governance matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, IT, Law, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in risk and controls review, internal audit, and/or business process reengineering, preferably within banking, financial services, or FinTech.
• Preferably with professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, or other relevant banking/financial certifications.
• Strong knowledge of business and IT audit, IT General Controls, Application Controls, cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and internal audit frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical and risk-related concepts for senior management and non-technical stakeholders.
