DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify key business questions and objectives, and design analytical solutions to address them.
- Build and maintain databases to facilitate the generation of reports and dashboards.
- Conduct data analysis to derive actionable insights and recommendations for decision-making, including descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive analytics.
- Collaborate with other departments, focusing on sales and distribution, to understand their analytical needs and provide support and guidance.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on business analytics and mentor team members as the unit grows.
- Stay current on trends and best practices in the analytics field.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Business Administration.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business analytics, data science, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role, overseeing analytics teams or projects.
- Proven experience with data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or similar.
- Experience in the specific industry (e.g., sales, distribution, or the sector InLife Benefits operates in) can be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
- Experience working with various departments to understand their analytical needs and provide actionable insights.
