Business Analytics Governance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls covering data, analytics, and AI/ML activities.
• Review existing processes across the analytics and model lifecycle, identify gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Design and implement future-state processes that support compliance, operational efficiency, and business objectives.
• Manage the organization's Model Governance Framework, including model inventory, approval processes, lifecycle management, and control mechanisms.
• Oversee model validation, monitoring, performance tracking, model drift management, and remediation activities.
• Develop and maintain governance-related documentation such as policies, procedures, risk assessments, audit requirements, and governance reports.
• Ensure compliance with BSP regulations, internal risk standards, and Philippine Data Privacy Act requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Data Science, Risk, IT, Compliance, and Business teams to embed governance best practices across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Governance, Process Improvement, Compliance, Controls, or Model Risk Management, ideally within banking or financial services.
• Good understanding of data analytics and AI/ML model lifecycles and associated governance risks.
• Proven experience in process review, gap analysis, framework design, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with BSP regulations, audit requirements, and data privacy standards.
