The Business Analyst will have the opportunity to gain exposure to and interact with key stakeholders (both internal and external) in business and finance. The Analyst will optimize data and turn them into actionable insights for the management to understand the essential information and enhance the decision-making. Furthermore, the analyst will work with the cross-functional teams to formulate advanced seasonal plans, analyse market trends and communicate revenue opportunities to senior leadership. They will also be able to gain insights and experience the fast-dynamic growing company.
Responsibilities:
Gather, update and process performance data
Conduct market research and generate business leads; ideas for business/consumer trends etc.
Identify new business opportunities directly and indirectly related to allow the company to diversify and expand
Analyse business practices and goals and make suggestions for improvements
Establish innovative ways to improve our systems, making data related more precise, timely and efficient
Provide in-depth insights based on relevant data to the business units and management
Supporting management in decision making by using financial numbers or key performance indicators and converting them into useful information
Study and provide analysis that identify opportunity and mitigate risk to business needs
Prepare performance indicators not limiting to financial numbers and converting it into useful information
Requirements:
Qualifications
Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Business IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or Equivalent from a recognised institution.
Experience:
Minimum 1-2 year of experience as a business analyst, preferably in the Hotels industry
Excellent numerical and communication skills
Understands data mining with reference to economic outlook
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite software, including financial modelling graphs charting and presentation
Proficient research experience with ability to independently collect and evaluate economic and local market data
Knowledge of different types of databases and applications (SQL Server, MS Access)

Familiar with various online channels
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and communication skills to work with others
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
