Position Overview:

The Business Analyst Supervisor plays a pivotal role in driving the GBS transformation pipeline. This role is responsible for continuous improvement, automation, and project intake management—evaluating, qualifying, and prioritizing opportunities aligned with strategic objectives. You will partner across cross-functional teams to build business cases, estimate effort, and ensure a steady pipeline of value-driven, execution-ready initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Assessment & Qualification:Experienced in assessing projects based on benefits, risks, positive/negative impacts, feasibility, and operational considerations to support prioritization and decision-making. Evaluate and qualify incoming demand using standard evaluation frameworks and recommend disposition (approve, defer, redesign, or reject).
  • Intake Management & Pipeline Governance: Lead transformation, continuous improvement, and automation intake processes; oversee demand triage, prioritization, and pipeline maintenance aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Business Case Development: Develop and refine opportunity briefs and business cases, defining problem statements, scope, assumptions, financial/operational benefits, risks, and high-level solution options.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with build teams (Business Transformation, Automation, IT, Data & Analytics, Operations) to validate requirements, estimate effort, and confirm delivery readiness.
  • Forum Facilitation: Facilitate intake and evaluation forums to present assessment outcomes, secure stakeholder alignment, document decisions, and define clear next steps.
  • Benefits & Pipeline Tracking: Track approved initiatives through execution and benefit realization in partnership with local Finance; maintain intake dashboards with accurate data and version control.
  • Pipeline Strategy: Partner with Transformation Leads to maintain a balanced pipeline spanning quick wins, medium-complexity projects, and strategic transformation efforts.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine intake frameworks, assessment templates, and governance processes to increase throughput, transparency, and overall value.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Holder
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in business analysis, business transformation, project intake and evaluation management, continuous improvement, or operational excellence in a Shared Services / Global Capability Center (GCC) / multinational environment.
  • Track Record: Proven history of conducting structured project feasibility/impact assessments and delivering measurable results through Lean or process improvement projects.

Certifications & Training

  • Required Training: Formal training in Lean, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Preferred Training: Innovation frameworks, Design Thinking, Digital Transformation, or Process Mining tools.
  • Preferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (trained or certified), PMP, or equivalent project management certification.

Key Competencies

  • Strong analytical, risk evaluation, and business case modeling skills.
  • Proven ability to weigh positive vs. negative operational impacts during project triage.
  • Proficiency in maintaining pipeline, intake, and benefits dashboards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across matrixed global teams.
