Job Description:

Support the First Mile Strategy team in improving operational performance and cost efficiency by combining strong analytical skills with hands-on problem solving. This role will focus on transforming data into actionable insights and working directly with Operations and cross-functional teams to design and implement improvements that drive faster, cheaper and better user experiences for our customers while building your skills to lead strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Perform deep-dive analysis on parcel flow, cost per parcel, and driver behavior using SQL and spreadsheet modeling.
  • Create reports and dashboards that proactively surface performance trends and operational issues.
  • Partner with Operations and Planning teams to design, pilot, and scale process improvements based on data insights.
  • Collaborate with and receive support from senior team members to develop structured approaches for solving operational challenges.
  • Drive selected initiatives end-to-end, from opportunity sizing and solution design to implementation support and performance tracking.
  • Develop tools that empower frontline teams to make data-driven decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders to influence operational strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, operations strategy, or process improvement roles in logistics, e-commerce, technology, or similar sectors (industry experience preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency in SQL (JOINs, aggregations, time-based functions) is strongly preferred candidates without prior experience should demonstrate readiness to learn quickly.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for modeling, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Experience building data visualization dashboards (Data Studio, Tableau, Looker, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Ability to translate data into clear recommendations and operational improvements.
  • Strong problem structuring and analytical reasoning skills.
  • High ownership mindset and a bias for action in solving business problems.
  • Clear communicator who can work cross-functionally to influence and drive change.
  • Comfortable working with imperfect and large datasets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with logistics, fulfillment, or e-commerce operations is an advantage but not required
