The Business Analyst / Business Operations Analyst supports operational performance through data analysis, systems administration, and reporting. The role focuses on CRM management, KPI tracking, and financial reporting. The analyst works with stakeholders across sales, finance, and operations to improve visibility, accuracy, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and operational data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Support administration and day to day use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Financial modules.
- Maintain and administer the CRM, including data quality, user support, and basic configuration.
- Support definition, tracking, and maintenance of business KPI metrics.
- Prepare and maintain operational and management reports.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking activities.
- Translate business requirements into clear documentation for reporting and system updates.
- Partner with sales, finance, and operations teams to align data and reporting needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across systems.
- Support ad hoc analysis and leadership requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in a business analyst or business operations role.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Financial.
- Experience supporting CRM administration and reporting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience working with KPI frameworks and performance metrics.
- Working knowledge of budgeting and financial reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working Relationships
- Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools.
- Exposure to sales operations or finance operations environments.
- Ability to work with cross functional stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and follow through.
